Junior-Mid level PHP Developer? £28k-32k Remote

Job description

Hi! We're Ocasta - a friendly, diverse team that design, build and maintain our own products and develop solutions for our customers. We are now looking to add a full or part-time PHP developer with some commercial development experience to our team. You will be joining our developers building and maintaining a large sales and lead management system for a major retailer. This system is built with CakePHP. If you know that, great. If not, don't worry we'll teach you. You'll also have lots of opportunities to use Docker, Git and AWS.

Since lockdown we've abandoned our office and are a fully remote company. We will be staying that way after the pandemic is over. With remote working comes more flexibility for all of us and we are happy to adjust your flexible work hours around your commitments. As a remote worker you must have good Interpersonal skills.

We're looking for people based in the UK because employment law and timezones are simpler that way.  Once COVID settles down we'll start having regular get togethers  but until then we really are 100% remote even though many of us live in the vicinity of Brighton. Expect some trips to the seaside! We encourage anyone applying to read some of the Five minutes with... series of posts we have on our website where our Ocastars talk about why they enjoy working here.

At Ocasta we believe that diversity increases creativity. Our goal in filling this position is to ensure that groups under-represented within our company will be over-represented in the interview stage of the hiring process. We encourage people of all backgrounds to apply.
